Year 2 of Dolce Suono Ensemble's highly acclaimed Mahler 100 / Schoenberg 60 project, marking the 2011 anniversaries of the death of Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) and Arnold Schoenberg (1874-1951) with six world premieres of commissioned works by Shulamit Ran, Steven Stucky, Steven Mackey, Fang Man, David Ludwig, and Stratis Minakakis. Celebrated artists Lucy Shelton, soprano, Randall Scarlata, baritone, and Eric Owens, bass-baritone join Dolce Suono Ensemble throughout the project.
